Harvard Yardage

Practice cheers, see old friends, or just keep warm at the various parties before and after the home football games in November. Before the match versus Brown, on November 7 at 12:30 p.m., the class of 1952 gathers at the Dillon Field House, and the Harvard Alumni Association and Alumni Affairs and Development Office sponsor a party at the Gordon Track and Tennis facility. The Stadium Club celebrates afterwards, at the Dillon Field House. On the day of The Game, November 21, the HAA and Harvard Varsity Club hold one pregame party at Gordon Track for which reservations are required, and one postgame party open to all. Among the classes holding events prior to kickoff at 12:30 p.m. are the class of 1937, at the Weld Boathouse; the class of 1944, at the Dillon Field House; the class of 1946, at Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols School; and the reunion classes of 1949, 1964, and 1974, all at the Palmer-Dixon Tennis Courts. Postgame, the HAA Recent Graduates Committee celebrates or commiserates at the Palmer-Dixon Tennis Courts, as does the Stadium Club at the Gordon Track and Tennis Facility. Pregame events usually start near 10 a.m. Call (617) 495-2555 for more information.
