Paul Farmer To Give Kennedy School Commencement Address

The University Professor and co-founder of Partners in Health will speak on May 25.

Physician and anthropologist Paul Farmer will be the Harvard Kennedy School Commencement speaker on May 25. Currently the Kolokotrones University Professor at Harvard, Farmer is a co-founder of Partners in Health, a nonprofit that brings Western medicine to partner organizations caring for the world’s poor. Farmer is the subject of the book Mountains Beyond Mountains, by Tracy Kidder ’67, and has been the recipient of numerous honorary degrees and awards, including a MacArthur Fellowship.
