The SIGnboard

As a new academic year begins, the Harvard Alumni Association’s Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are also planning events. Some appear below; learn about others by contacting individual SIGs via http://alumni.harvard.edu/haa/clubs-sigs/sigs-directory.

Harvard Alumni for Agriculture

This fall, we will be hosting topic-focused networking happy hours in Boston, New York City, and San Francisco—and our webinar series will be delving deep into the topics of farmland investing and big data in agriculture. We will also host an informal networking lunch in conjunction with the annual World Food Prize Laureate Award Ceremony events, which will take place in Des Moines, Iowa, in October. Anyone interested should contact alumniag@post.harvard.edu for more information or visit our website, harvardagriculture.org, for current and past event listings.

Harvard Alumni for Global Women’s Empowerment

Harvard GlobalWE connects Harvard community members interested in raising awareness of, and providing education about, various cultural approaches to the promotion of liberty and rights of women worldwide. We bring people together for dialogue and idea-exchange, to learn from and support each other, and to support other women and men around the world. To join, or learn more, e-mail globalWE@post.harvard.edu.
