The '01 Scholars

Harvard garnered no American Rhodes Scholarships this year, but dodged the null set with the selection of economics concentrator Tegan S. Shohet ’01 (below), of Mather House and Toronto, for a Canadian Rhodes. Harvard’s five Marshall Scholars were seniors (left to right) Kevin Schwartz, an economics concentrator (Kirkland House and East Hills, New York), Davesh Maulik, math (Quincy House and Roslyn, New York), Adam Cohen, chemical physics (Lowell House and New York City), Sarah Lewis, social studies and history of art and architecture (Mather House and New York City), and (inset) Daniel Baer ’00, social studies and Afro-American studies (formerly of Quincy House and Denver).
